With over an hour before my SFO American Air pick up I thought how nice to have a bite and maybe some good coffee. Was shocked there was nothing available in domestic terminal. Glad I stopped by Info desk and got routed to Roasting Plant Coffee in the International terminal. What a great place!! The two ladies working were delightful, and full of pride for their establishment. They explain it's one of a kind, this SFO spot being the only retail location. As soon as she opened the tall canister to select my Sumatra beans I was swooning. They smelled heavenly. I selected a pesto chicken wrap and double chocolate chip cookie. The wrap was perfectly packaged to save half for my incoming friend. The chicken was juicy and the pesto sauce excellent. It was really fresh and tasty. I just had to eat the cookie with the coffee. Oh my goodness, I would love to buy this coffee by the bag. It was around $20 for these three items but I felt it was well worth it, for the quality and taste. Thumbs up and hope I have an airport pick up excuse to visit again soon.
